This notice explains how BTL Reality uses personal information when you visit our website, contact us, buy a service or join our community. It also explains cookies and third-party services.

Who is responsible

BTL Reality is operated by ACTIVE8 FZ LLC, company number 4042545, Compass House, Al Shohada Road, Al Hamra Industrial Zone, FZ – Ras Al Khaimah, United Arab Emirates, the controller responsible for the information we use to run BTL Reality. Information and purposes

• Enquiries and bookings: your name, contact details, messages, availability and information you choose to share about your goals. We use this to respond and arrange calls, to take steps at your request before a contract, or for our legitimate interest in handling general enquiries.
• Membership and purchases: contact and account details, transaction references, billing status, attendance, learning progress and information you provide for your educational plan. We use this to deliver and administer your contract. Payment details are handled through the payment provider; do not email card details to us.
• Records, complaints and security: relevant correspondence, billing records and technical information. We use these to meet applicable legal obligations and for our legitimate interests in protecting the service, resolving disputes and keeping appropriate business records.
• Marketing: your contact details and preferences, used where you have consented or another applicable permission allows the specific communication. You can unsubscribe or contact us at any time. Necessary service messages are separate from marketing.
• Website use: device, IP address, page and interaction information, depending on the tools used and your choices. Non-essential advertising and tracking technologies require any consent applicable by law; see the cookies section below.

You can choose not to provide optional information. Without information needed to arrange or deliver a service, we may be unable to supply that service. Please avoid providing sensitive personal information unless it is necessary and a suitable method has been agreed.

Who may receive information

We use website hosting and administration services, payment services such as Stripe, booking tools such as Calendly, and form, CRM and communication tools such as LeadConnector/HighLevel where used on the relevant page. Video and external review links may connect to YouTube and Trustpilot. These providers may act as processors for us or as separate controllers for their own functions; their own privacy notices explain their activities. We may also disclose information to professional advisers or authorities where needed for legal, accounting or dispute purposes. We do not sell your personal data.

For a professional introduction, we will explain the proposed introduction and obtain your agreement before sharing your details with that professional. The professional will be responsible for the information they subsequently collect for their service. Relevant referral arrangements should be disclosed separately.

WhatsApp and the member community

WhatsApp is a Meta service with its own privacy terms. Joining a standard group can make your phone number, profile details and messages visible to other members. Consider this before joining. Contact us if you have concerns before accepting an invitation. Do not share identification documents, bank statements, mortgage applications or other sensitive information in a group. Other members must respect confidentiality, but we cannot control copies they independently make.

We will ask before using identifiable private messages, photographs or a private case study in our marketing. Public review excerpts remain subject to the relevant review platform's rules. Contact us about any concern regarding a published example.

International processing

ACTIVE8 FZ LLC operates in the United Arab Emirates. Information you give us may therefore be accessed and processed there. Our service providers may also process data in the UK, EEA and other countries. Data protection laws vary. Where UK GDPR or another applicable law requires a safeguard for a restricted transfer, the relevant transfer must be supported by an appropriate legal mechanism. You may contact us for details of destinations and safeguards relevant to your information. This notice is not a request for you to waive data protection rights or consent to every overseas transfer.

Cookies and similar technologies

Essential technologies support functions such as security, sessions and choices you make. Analytics, advertising pixels and some embedded media or booking tools may collect device and browsing information or use cookies. These are separate from essential site operation and should only be activated with consent where required.

Use the site's cookie controls, where displayed, to accept or reject optional categories or change your choice. Browser settings can also block or remove cookies, although deleting them does not by itself withdraw information already sent to a provider. Following an external link takes you to that provider's own site and privacy controls. You can contact us to arrange a booking or ask a question without using an embedded booking form. Reading this notice or continuing to browse is not consent to non-essential tracking.

Retention and security

We retain information for as long as needed for its purpose, taking account of the duration of your membership, unresolved enquiries or disputes, applicable accounting and legal record-keeping requirements, and limitation periods. Information no longer needed should be deleted or anonymised. Marketing details are retained until you unsubscribe or they are no longer needed; a minimal suppression record may be kept to respect your choice. You may ask about the period applicable to a particular record.

We take reasonable organisational and technical steps to protect information. No online service can promise absolute security. Please keep your login details private and report suspected misuse promptly.

Your rights and complaints

Depending on applicable law, you may have rights to access, correct, erase or receive a portable copy of information, restrict processing, object to processing based on legitimate interests, and withdraw consent without affecting earlier lawful processing. You can object to direct marketing at any time. Rights can be subject to legal exceptions. Send requests to info@btlreality.co.uk; we may need proportionate verification of your identity.

If UK data protection law applies, you can complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office. You may also contact the competent data protection authority in your jurisdiction. You do not have to contact us before raising a concern with a regulator.
